Role and Missions
CCI FRANCE JORDANIE – CAFRAJ; The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Jordan - was established in August 1998 as a Franco Jordanian Business Club which was affiliated, in 2002, to the CCI France International, a strong network of 126 French bilateral chambers in 95 countries. The Chamber represents France, which is the largest non-Arab investor in Jordan.
CAFRAJ supports member companies to achieve their professional goals and develop the Franco-Jordanian commercial, economic and social cooperation.
We realize our mission via:
- Collection and distribution of information on the French and Jordanian markets, public and private sectors, French and European aid programs, by-laws, protocols and agreements, tourism, culture and economy
- Assistance: assist French and/or Jordanian companies to expand their business and establish partnerships
- Fairs and conferences: encourage the exchange of knowledge and experience between the two communities by assisting members to participate in trade fairs and exhibitions organized in France
- Relationships: build long-lasting business relationships between French and Jordanian SMEs and take advantage of equitable relationships and investment incentives to promote investments, both in France and Jordan
- Advertisement: benefit from visibility in CAFRAJ members’ directory and our monthly newsletter which are very widely spread internationally and locally among non-members too. All members may submit articles, publish their press releases and advertise on our website
- Join official Franco-Jordanian discussions (e.g. visits from Heads of State, ministerial delegations and other official arrangements) and sponsor cultural events and economic activities (e.g. Business lunches, Gala dinners, and Cocktail receptions)
